What is included in the price?

Our standard small business website includes 4 main pages for your content, plus an anti-spam contact page for your visitors to send you email via an email form. Your site includes all the relevant links and a sitemap for search engine optimisation. See the summary below:

What is not included in the price?

Add-ons such as online shop and photo gallery are separate from the standard website package - prices are given on the prices page.
We charge £20 per hour for website alterations. To give you an idea of the likely cost for additions & alterations for your website, here are some guidelines:

Adding a page
It takes around 2.5 hours to add a new page - £50. Each new page may have up to 4 static images. You may need more images or perhaps a complex layout, in which case you can contact us for a quote. Remember that your monthly fee will add £2 for each additional page.

Replacing images
Providing the images are the same size and placed in the same position, it takes about 10 minutes to replace an existing images. Therefore 6 images would be 1 hour at £20.

Adding content to a page
Up to 3 paragraphs and 3 new images approximately 1 hour at £20. If you require a more complex layout and positining, we will advise how long it is likely to take.

Forms
You may need an enquiry form for your visitors to fillout, such as an appointment booking form or a questionaire. A form of up to 12 elements takes about 1.5 hours - £30.

What do I need to do now?

You need to decide on the content you need to put on your website. Think about the information you need to display to your visitors. It is always a good idea to check out some of your competitors websites and see what they are doing. Whilst you won't want to copy them, it will certainly give you some good ideas!

What is a domain name?

The domain name is the web address for your website i.e. www.easysmartwebsites.co.uk
Think carefully about the domain name that you want for your website. We will always try to register the exact name that you want first, but if it is already registered, we can offer some suggestions to help find the best variation.
Domain names need to be renewed every year for .com and every 2 years for .co.uk

How long will it take to get my website online?

Getting Started:
You will need to send us your company logo and the genreal colour scheme that your company uses. You will also need to send enough information for us to create a draft layout for your home page.

Creating a draft:
Once we receive the above information, we will create a draft layout and send it to you in 7-14 days.

Getting your content ready:
Once the layout has been agreed, you will need to send us the list and the names of the pages you want for the rest of your website and the content for each page, you will need to let us know when this content will be complete and ready to send to us.

Development:
Once we have all the page names and the content for each page, we will book a development slot for you as close to the date that you give us for the completion of your website's full content. Your website will be online and fully functional within 7-28 days depending on its size and complexity.

Going live!
Once the package, draft and domain name have been agreed, we will send an invoice for the domain registration and your first month's fee. Once this has been received, the site will be constructed in full and 'go live' on the internet.

Will my site be listed on google?

As soon as your website is put online it will be submitted not only to google but also all the other major search engines. Your website will be re-submitted at regular intervals to ensure that any updated content is properly indexed by search engines.
Your website will also be optimised to respond to the keywords and phrases that your visitors will type into search engines when they are looking for you.

What if I want a specific design?

You will notice that some of the websites we build have a lot of bespoke graphics and complex layouts. These types of designs can take a while to develop and will therefore require a one-off design fee. For most small businesses, lots of singing & dancing graphics are not necessary, the layouts we provide will look smart and professional. However, if you want something particularly dazzling, for example if you are a nightclub e.t.c. then call us or email us giving an idea of what you want, perhaps some links to websites that have the type of 'look' that you want and we will contact you with an estimate. Once the design has been made, you will only need to pay the £2 per month, per page as with our other websites. Your design will be yours to keep and you can host it wherever you like!

What if I don't have a logo?

We can provide a generic logo free of charge, just tell us what you want it to say and which colours you want. Bespoke logo design is not included the easy smart website packages, since logos are graphic design. We can make a bespoke logo for you. Contact us with your ideas and we will provide a time & cost estimate for the design.

What type of email account do I need?

Our standard email accounts are perfectly fine for most small businesses. However, if you need to send things like hi-resolution images, large pdf/word/powerpoint files e.t.c. then you may need to upgrade to the premium email account which will give you 2GB storage space.

I no longer need my website, how do I close my account?

Contact us whenever you wish to close your account and we will close it. Your monthly fee will be due for the duration of the month in which your account is closed.
